Overview

Outset Solutions LLC (“Outset,” “we,” “us”) builds sovereign software including NetIntegrate network operations tools and Privacy Dawg consumer privacy automation. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our websites, use our applications, or interact with our LinkedIn and other marketing channels.

Information we collect

• Contact and account data — name, email, company, and messages you submit through forms or support channels.
• Usage data — pages visited, referral source, device/browser type, and aggregated analytics.
• LinkedIn and social API data — when you authorize our apps, we receive OAuth tokens and basic profile or organization identifiers required to publish content you approve. We do not sell this data.
• Product telemetry — for on-premise products, telemetry stays on your network unless you explicitly enable outbound reporting.

How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve our products and websites.
• Respond to inquiries, demos, and support requests.
• Publish marketing content to channels you authorize (e.g., LinkedIn company pages).
• Comply with law and enforce our terms.

Data custody

Sovereign and on-premise offerings are designed so sensitive customer data remains under your control. Cloud-hosted marketing and queue systems store only the minimum metadata needed to schedule and publish approved content.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate our business (hosting, email, analytics), when required by law, or with your consent.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above. We apply encryption in transit, access controls, and credential vaulting for API tokens.

Privacy Dawg support agent (Gmail access)

Privacy Dawg's customer support inbox is monitored by an automated agent that reads incoming support requests, creates a support ticket, and — only for a narrow, deterministic set of low-priority categories (general questions, routine billing or removal-status questions) — drafts and sends a reply. Security, privacy, legal, and identity-related requests are never auto-replied to; a person reviews and responds to those. The agent does not read, use, or retain email unrelated to support requests sent to that inbox, and does not sell or share this data with third parties.

Privacy Dawg browser extension

• Local encryption. The extension encrypts your personal information client-side (Web Crypto API, AES-GCM-256) and stores it only in the browser's local session storage — not on our servers.
• Form auto-fill. When you use the extension on a data broker's opt-out page, it decrypts your information locally and fills that page's form fields — the same information that page would require if you filled it in by hand. This is sent only to that specific broker, never to Outset Solutions' servers in plaintext.
• Removal verification. The extension can check whether a broker's page still shows your information. Only a one-way cryptographic commitment (a SHA-256 hash) of the result — never the page content, your information, or which broker it was — is sent to our servers.
• Account login. The extension authenticates against your Privacy Dawg account (email and password), not a third-party sign-in.

Third-party links

Our sites may link to third parties (including LinkedIn). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
